We are pleased to announce that the automated referral system is now fully operational, we apologise for the delay in this update. There is no longer any need to tell us by email as it is fully automatic as long as the referral puts the referee’s name in the box correctly on the registration page.

CyberCash

We are pleased to announce that the automatic Cybercash transactions are now operational

We are working on making a CyberCash payment as easy as a paypal payment and so far we have got about half way there.

Sellers

To set up automatic payments for CyberCash in your listings, it is extremely important you follow these directions. In the following example there is a check box for accepting Cybercash at the BOTTOM of the table.  This must be ticked for the CyberCash automation to work.

 As long as this is ticked then you will be able to accept Automated CyberCash payments on your items and the Auctions-United CyberCash logo will appear on your listing. Remember it is 100% cheaper than paypal because it’s free. (please see www.paypalwarning.com or www.paypalsucks.com to see why we do not recommend paypal to our Members).

If you would like to help us educate Buyers on how to use the Automated CyberCash payments system, which in it’s self benefit any Seller accepting CyberCash, then you may copy and paste the following if you wish into your item descriptions. The more this CyberCash guide is seen the better for everyone. 

Buyers

Automatic CyberCash payments have been set up ONLY on listings that display something similar to the table below. This can be found at the bottom of the page just ABOVE the range of other accepted payment methods the Seller accepts.

PAYMENT

The logo pictured above is an indication that the Seller Accepts CyberCash as well as whichever other payment methods the Seller accepts.

Items purchased by clicking Buy Out (otherwise known as Buy it Now) 

Click on the Buy out and purchase the item, as usual you will be asked to confirm the purchase. Click the proceed button.

After your purchase is confirmed, you should go to "bidding " in the members area. On the left hand side of the item you have just purchased, you will see the link "Click here to pay with CyberCash". Use this link to pay using CyberCash from your CyberWallet.

NOTE: CyberCash payments will only be automated with new listings (after 21st July 2005), if the seller has agreed to accept CyberCash.

NOTE: If you have paid using the automated Cybercash transaction, you must not fill out a CyberCash transfer form.

We are continually aiming to make this process as easy as possible. This means we will be making more changes aver the next few days.
